The present perfect talks about the recent past or actions with a link to now. Form it with the present of haber + the past participle.

Regular participles end in -ado (-ar) or -ido (-er/-ir). Watch common irregulars: hecho (hacer), visto (ver), dicho (decir), escrito (escribir), puesto (poner), vuelto (volver).
