A2 The simple future tense (hablaré)
advertisement
The simple future means “will do”. It’s one of the easiest tenses: add the same endings to the whole infinitive, whatever the verb type.
| hablaré | I will speak |
| comerás | you will eat |
| vivirá | he/she will live |
| seremos | (we) — from ser |
| harán | they will do |
The endings are -é, -ás, -á, -emos, -éis, -án. A dozen common verbs use an irregular stem: tendré (tener), pondré (poner), saldré (salir), vendré (venir), diré (decir), haré (hacer), podré (poder), sabré (saber), querré (querer). Practise it in the exercises.
