A2 The near future: ir a + infinitive

Before learning the full future tense, use ir a + infinitive — exactly like “to be going to” in English.
| Voy a estudiar. | I’m going to study. |
| Vamos a comer. | We’re going to eat. |
| ¿Qué vas a hacer? | What are you going to do? |
Just conjugate ir (voy, vas, va, vamos, vais, van), add a, then the infinitive.
